Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagging Associate to assist at checkout, bag groceries, and help customers in a fast-paced store environment. You will ensure items are bagged securely, maintain shelves, and assist with loading bags for customers.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at check out and strive for at least five items per bag.
• Follow best bagging practices for reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist customers by loading bags into their cars when needed.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and locate products; conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Adhere to safety programs and food safety guidelines; report unsafe conditions.
