Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shifts.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 60 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products and allergens.
• Ability to climb a ladder to access items.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to follow schedules and time policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Keep shelves fully stocked and displays faced.
• Perform price changes and maintain unit price labels.
• Follow safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Unload and store received merchandise properly.
• Maintain sanitation and QA standards in the department.
• Record markups and markdowns as required by policy.
• Perform ShopRite service priorities (Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, Efficiency).
• Attend applicable department training programs and work overtime as needed.
