Job summary

ShopRite of Ramsey is hiring a Grocery Clerk to price, stock and rotate merchandise in the Grocery Department while delivering a great customer experience. You will maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department and perform duties efficiently and safely in accordance with company policy.

The role requires strong English communication, basic math, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, speaking English required.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products and cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Keep shelves fully stocked and faced; rotate merchandise as needed.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety procedures and QA standards.
• Unload and stock merchandise; assist with product rotation and display.
