Job summary

Chedraui USA is hiring a Grocery Clerk at Store 041 Houston W Mt Hou. You will serve customers, keep displays clean, and rotate self-serve areas. Must be able to work nights and weekends and perform heavy lifting as required.

Role requires reading and understanding product labels and pricing, plus bilingual communication in Spanish and English. Excellent community presence and the ability to interact with the public, co-workers, and management is essential.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service under direct supervision.
• Clean display cases and shelves, fill and rotate self-serve displays.
• Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends; perform heavy lifting and bending as needed.
