Job summary

River Market: Stillwater, MN is seeking a Grocery Clerk to assist customers, stock and merchandise products, receive deliveries and uphold quality and safety standards. This union role reports to the Grocery Manager and offers opportunities for growth within a valued, local co-op environment.

Typical shifts span early to late day with weekend/evening availability. Previous grocery experience is helpful and may influence starting wage within our scale.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Able to repetitively lift and carry 25 lbs, and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Able to remain on feet for long periods of time.
• Able to spend time working in refrigerated spaces.
• Availability to work including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and create a positive shopping experience.
• Stock and merchandise products in the department.
• Receive deliveries and ensure quality/safety standards are maintained.
• Support daily department operations and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth workflows.

Location:

River Market: 221 Main Street North, Stillwater, MN 55082

Schedule:

Variable hours with typical shifts between the hours of 7am and 6pm. Flexible availability is preferred.
