Grocery Clerk Responsibilities include:

• Informing customers of specials and recommending products to meet their needs.
• Checking product quality, reviewing "sell by" dates, and taking appropriate action.
• Providing customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventorying merchandise.
• Reporting discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
• Staying current with ads and promotions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures and logs.
• Maintaining product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Creating a welcoming environment and answering product questions.
• Reinforcing safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Inspecting equipment, notifying management of repairs, and managing conflicts professionally.
• Acting with honesty and integrity, following directions, and assisting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
