Responsibilities include:

• Informing customers of specials and recommending products to meet their needs.
• Checking product quality and freshness, reviewing "sell by" dates.
• Providing customers with ordered grocery products.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventory management.
• Reporting discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
• Staying current with ads and promotions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures and logs.
• Gaining product knowledge to assist and suggest to customers.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
• Following safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions and accidents.
• Inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs.
• Supporting a cooperative team environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Acting with honesty and integrity, following directions, and seeking assistance when needed.
• Supporting customers and colleagues, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
