Job Description

Create an exceptional customer experience through outstanding service. Maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customer loyalty. Assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, and monitor quality assurance standards. Responsibilities

1. Help customers discover products and inform them of specials.
2. Ensure product quality by checking freshness and "sell by" dates.
3. Provide customers with ordered grocery items, both fresh and non-perishable.
4. Recommend products and answer customer questions to enhance their shopping experience.
5. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise accurately.
6. Report discrepancies and maintain safety and temperature logs.
7. Stay knowledgeable about products and store promotions.
8. Create a welcoming environment and promote safety procedures.
9. Assist in equipment maintenance and report issues promptly.
10. Handle customer and employee accidents following store protocols.
11. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
12. Act with honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
13. Support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
