Responsibilities:

• Inform customers about food specials and recommend grocery items to meet their needs.
• Check product quality, ensuring freshness and reviewing "sell by" dates.
• Provide customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the manager.
• Stay updated on current, upcoming, seasonal, and promotional ads.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining proper temperatures and logs.
• Develop product knowledge to assist and suggest to customers.
• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and appreciated.
• Adhere to safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report equipment needs.
• Report customer or employee accidents promptly.
