Essential Job Functions:
- Assist customers in discovering new items or products of interest.
- Inform customers of specials and recommend grocery items to meet their needs.
- Check product quality, review "sell by" dates, and take appropriate actions.
- Provide customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
- Stay current with advertisements and promotions.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and keep logs.
- Develop knowledge of products and respond to customer questions with suggestions.
- Create a welcoming environment, making customers feel valued and appreciated.
- Reinforce safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
- Practice preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and report repairs needed.
- Report customer or employee accidents to management.
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $19.25 - $25.35 per hour.
