JOB FUNCTION

As a Grocery Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our grocery department. Your responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. We seek outgoing, friendly, dependable team players.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide outstanding customer service
2. Clean and sanitize daily
3. Operate a POS system and handle cashier duties
4. Unload and stock products
5. Price and display products
6. Sack groceries and assist with carry-out service
7. Maintain accurate inventory records
8. Assist customers during shopping
9. Potentially perform E-Commerce duties, such as order picking and delivery assistance
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 14 years old
2. Availability to work Saturdays and some evenings
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
5. Basic math skills
6. Experience in grocery or related fields is helpful but not required

Physical Demands:

• Stand for up to 8+ hours
• Repetitive lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting
• Lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Work Environment:

• Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions
