Overview of Responsibilities

Grocery Clerks at Sprouts Farmers Market work in various areas of the store, including the Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen Departments. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, filling frozen foods bins, maintaining store cleanliness and presentation, receiving product deliveries, ensuring delivery accuracy, and moving products to the sales floor using different equipment. They also rotate merchandise to ensure freshness for customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Note: Team Members under 18 are restricted from tasks involving the use of knives (except safety cutters), ladders, operating garbage or cardboard compactors, any motor/electronic equipment (including manual pallet jacks), and working in coolers or freezers for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years old
• Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Respectful, maintaining a high standard of ethics within our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Positive attitude with good interaction skills with customers
• Effective communication skills; ability to follow directions and work in a team
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
• Capable of lifting boxes weighing up to 60 lbs., moving them up to 5 feet, for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance
• Adherence to safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations
• Ability to perform other related duties as assigned
