Job summary

El Super #67 in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Checker to join our Store Operations Team. Starting rate is $17.00 per hour. The role focuses on fast, accurate checkout, friendly service, and safeguarding store assets in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service per company standards.
• Process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Perform cash register operations and safeguard company assets.
