Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a front-line associate to provide fast, friendly service in the Center Store department. You will help maintain shelves, ensure saleable merchandise, and follow standard practices to maximize sales while minimizing shrink.

Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to learn multiple tasks, and meet physical requirements. Training and safety guidelines will be provided along with a uniform policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and handle technical requirements.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain shelves and shelf tag moldings; stock according to policy.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses; perform other duties as assigned.
