Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Store Associate to provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service within the Center Store (Grocery) department. You will help maintain shelves, stocking from tag to tag, and ensure products meet quality standards while following policy guidelines and safety procedures.

In this role, you will work with teammates across departments, learn the store's computer-based tools, and uphold Food Lion's standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Center Store (Grocery) Department.
• Maintain shelves and shelf tag moldings; stock accurately.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Follow Food Lion policies, guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Wear the uniform and maintain a neat appearance on duty.
