Job summary

Food Lion in Newton, NC is seeking a customer-focused team member for the Center Store (Grocery) department. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate service, maintain shelves, and follow standard practices to maximize sales and minimize shrink.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and learn to use ACIS and CAO tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a readiness to comply with safety

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in Center Store (Grocery).
• Maintain shelves and shelf tag moldings; stock from tag to tag.
• Ensure saleable merchandise is displayed and policy guidelines are followed.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and report accidents.
• Wear Food Lion uniform and complete required trainings.
