Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service in the Center Store (Grocery) Department. You will help maintain shelves, follow the standard practice manual, and support store operations to maximize sales and minimize shrink.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, a strong customer service focus, and the ability to learn store systems (ACIS, CAO). Compliance with safety guidelines and a neat appearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Center Store (Grocery) Department.
• Maintain standards in accordance with the standard practice manual, maximizing sales and minimizing shrink.
• Maintain shelves, tags and stock accurately and in accordance with policies.
• Understand and use Food Lion tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and follow dress code.
