Ralphs in California is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide outstanding customer service at checkout, bag groceries, and support store cleanliness and safety measures. Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive for at least five items per bag and ensure contents are not damaged.
• Bag items using best practices for reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and keep areas tidy.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves as needed.
• Collect and return bascarts to designated areas.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot.
• Adhere to safety programs and report hazards to management.
• Follow food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify for repairs.
