Job summary

The Kroger company is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide outstanding customer service and support at the Bluffton store. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading, and help keep aisles and parking areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Willingness to provide friendly, helpful service to customers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers and ensure bag integrity.
• Assist in loading bags into customers' cars when needed.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and place items on shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and price checks as needed.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts.
• Clean spills, dispose of trash, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company policies.
