The Kroger Co. in Mississippi is hiring for a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

You will bag groceries, assist customers at checkout, and help load items into vehicles while upholding Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, and safety. Responsibilities include bagging groceries, stocking shelves, performing basic price checks, and supporting teammates in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• Customer service skills required.
• Effective communication skills essential.

Responsabilidades

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim for at least five items in the bag while preventing damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various bag types.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather baskets.
• Clean spills and maintain store cleanliness inside and outside.
• Understand store layout and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Adhere to safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow food safety regulations and proper equipment inspection.
• Provide welcoming service and answer product questions.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines; work cooperatively under pressure.
