Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service in Wichita, Kansas. This role focuses on bagging groceries, assisting customers, and maintaining a safe, clean store environment to encourage repeat visits.

Responsibilities include handling seasonal merchandise, price checks, stocking, and helping customers load bags into their cars as needed. Retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items without damage.
• Follow bagging best practices for reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist customers by loading bags into their car when needed.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather and return bascarts.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and in the parking lot.
• Maintain clean areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
