Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger for our Memphis, TN store. You will bag groceries at checkout, assist customers with loading, and help keep the store clean and safe. You’ll also greet customers, share store information, and participate in basic price checks.

This on-site role emphasizes friendly, efficient service, adhering to safety and food-handling guidelines while contributing to a welcoming shopping environment for all customers.

Qualifications

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers with loading bags
• Follow bagging best practices for different bag types
• Assist in moving merchandise and returning items to shelves
• Inform customers of specials and store layout, locate products
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, handle spills and trash
• Assist with price checks and help cashiers as needed
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and safety procedures
• Provide friendly service to create an inviting shopping experience
