Job summary

Ralphs in Brea, CA is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean store environment. You will bag items, assist customers, and follow safety and food-handling guidelines, while supporting store operations with basic shelf maintenance and price checks.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Customer service orientation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag and ensure no damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and maintain carts.
• Keep store and parking lot clean; handle spills and trash.
