Job summary

The Kroger store in Eastpointe, MI is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service at checkout and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment. You will bag groceries, stock shelves, and assist customers with loading bags and finding items, while following safety guidelines throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers and strive for at least five items per bag.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness and respond to spills or hazards.
