Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Kahului, HI is seeking an entry-level Grocery Team Member to support the department by stocking, displaying, and selling products. You will assist with receiving deliveries, maintain clean displays, and provide courteous service to customers and Team Members.

This role requires standing 6-8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Prior retail experience is not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to upsell courteously.
• Ability to learn product details across department lines.
• Capacity to evaluate product quality and freshness.
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Keep displays fresh and appealing; front-face and rotate products.
• Stock shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases; maintain back stock.
• Monitor spoilage and report waste; assist with inventory checks.
• Assist with sampling program; maintain clean, attractive sample areas.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage; open/close duties as assigned.
• Provide friendly service; respond to customer needs promptly.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures rules.
