Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring for a full-time janitorial/porter role at our Plant City, FL facility. You will help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment, including offices and break areas, with duties spanning sweeping, mopping, floors care, and occasional pallet-jack-assisted cleaning.

The role supports a day-to-day operations flow with a focus on safety and efficiency. Competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits are provided, including training and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor.
• Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms.
• Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors.
• Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product.
• Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
• Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

• Earn $17.50 per hour
• Full Time: 11pm start time
• Location: 1802 Jim Johnson Road, Plant City FL 33566

Warehouse: Store/Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Job Description
