Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Grocery Overnight Lead to oversee store operations during the overnight hours. You will manage freight, set up displays, stock shelves, and supervise overnight clerks while coordinating with maintenance staff to ensure smooth, accurate execution.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, warehouse and forklift experience, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Position Summary

The Grocery Overnight Lead is responsible for maintaining store conditions and operations during the overnight operating hours.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Process freight delivery
• Create new displays sets end caps
• Stock shelves, zone/face all isles
• Sorts grocery merchandise assigning labels and price tags
• Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise
• Monitor shelf life of merchandise ensuring proper rotation when needed
• Maintain inventory in stockroom
• Prominently display promotional merchandise
• Maintaining reports for overages, shortages and damages
• Ensure all deliveries are received correctly
• Assign work to overnight clerks
• Oversees maintenance personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
