Responsibilities

• Rotate stock and monitor shelf life for freshness.
• Maintain inventory in the stockroom.
• Oversee overnight clerks and assign tasks.
• Ensure deliveries are received correctly and on time.
• Maintain reports on overages, shortages, and damages.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and other teams.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Grocery Overnight Lead is responsible for maintaining store conditions and operations during the overnight operating hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process freight delivery
• Create new displays sets end caps
• Stock shelves, zone/face all isles
• Sorts grocery merchandise assigning labels and price tags
• Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise
• Monitor shelf life of merchandise ensuring proper rotation when needed
• Maintain inventory in stockroom
• Prominently display promotional merchandise
• Maintaining reports for overages, shortages and damages
• Ensure all deliveries are received correctly
• Assign work to overnight clerks
• Oversees maintenance personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
