Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates at the Royal Canin site in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Grinding Utility Operator to move raw ingredients, load/unload trailers, and prep ingredients for mixing on a rotating 12-hour schedule.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and the ability to work in a team. You’ll work with SAP, ATMS and week plan, with overtime, annual bonus payout and 401(k) matching opportunities.

Grinding Utility Operator

Location:

Royal Canin – Lebanon, TN

Required Shift:

• 12-Hour shifts, rotating schedule.
• Night shift is 6:00 pm to 6:30 am; 4 days on and 4 days off

The role of our Grinding Utility Operatoris to move raw ingredients inside the site, load/unload trailers, and prepare ingredients for mixing. The Grinding Utility Operator will work several positions throughout the site with the intent of preparing ingredients for mixing.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma / GED
• Forklift experience required
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; must be coachable
• Passion to work and learn in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to act with disciplined initiative
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• 1+ years’ experience within manufacturing, technical and/or trade discipline
• Comfortable working with different business systems like SAP, ATMS and week plan.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-55 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
• Frequenthandling/gripping/bending/stooping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.
• Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods
