Job summary

Pine Hall Brick Company Inc in Fairmount, IN is seeking a reliable plant operator. You will drive and operate a front end loader, skid steer, and lift truck to support crushing, screening, and conveying systems.

You will work Mon-Fri 6am until production needs are met; join a team, perform duties across the plant, and assist with preventative maintenance and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes are required.
• Willingness to work across the plant as needed.
• Must pass pulmonary function testing for respirator.

• The grinding room operator’s area of responsibility is from the stockpile to storage bunkers.
• Will learn all aspects on the grinding room operation and upkeep.
• Provide regular communication with supervision on what material to grind and which bunker to store the material.
• Will provide assistance with Sand Prep duties as required.
• Will perform all other duties assigned.
• Must participate in dept housekeeping and meet standards.
• Must be a team player – help out co-workers.

Educational, Experience, & Skill Requirements

• Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes etc. required.
• Ability and willingness to help throughout the Plant where needed.
• Must be able to pass pulmonary function testing for respirator.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, and bend regularly.

Work Schedule

6am-until production needs are met Monday through Friday.
