Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills for calculations.
• Ability to study blueprints or layouts to visualize grinding.
• Understand safety practices related to grinding.
• Dependable with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts in grinding machines as directed.
• Learn basic tool selections per procedure under supervision.
• Position and secure work pieces on magnetic chuck, fixtures, or table.
• Learn basic machine adjustments under supervision.
• Use and calibrate measuring instruments and verify dimensions per blueprint.
• Follow 8-Step Checklists and perform SPC charts as required.
• Keep work area clean and organized; participate in safety procedures.
