Aerotek in Carson, CA is seeking a Shop Laborer for metal grinding and painting. The role focuses on grinding, smoothing, finishing metal components and preparing parts for painting in a production environment.

You will use hand grinders, power tools, and painting equipment to deliver high-quality finished metal products while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The position requires experience with grinders and power tools, metal fabrication or welding, and performing metal prep tasks such as

Qualifications

• Experience using hand grinders and power tools in a production or shop environment.
• Previous experience in metal fabrication, welding, grinding, or paint preparation.
• Ability to perform metal prep tasks such as grinding, deburring, sanding, and polishing.
• Experience with painting or coating metal components in an industrial setting.
• Comfort working with metal components and finished assemblies.
• Ability to perform visual inspections to verify quality and workmanship.
• Capability to use general hand tools and basic production equipment safely.

Job Title: Shop Laborer Metal Grinding and Painting

Job Description

This role focuses on grinding, smoothing, and finishing metal components in a production environment, preparing parts for painting, and applying coatings to completed fixtures and assemblies. You will use hand grinders, power tools, and painting equipment to produce high-quality finished metal products while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
