Job Details:

General Job Description:

Operate a grinding machine safely, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to GMP and safety standards related to grinding.

Physical Requirements: Must be willing and able to perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.

Tasks:

• Inspect equipment, parts, and blades for repair and sanitation before setup.
• Read and interpret work instructions accurately.
• Identify raw materials used in grinding correctly.
• Verify lot numbers according to formulas.
• Follow written instructions for formulations.
• Use basic math for paperwork and QA checks.
• Use RF terminal or scanner for transactions.
• Communicate during shift changes.
• Control product losses.
• Clean equipment during changeovers and dispose of trash properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Box raw materials and ensure rework is used as specified.
• Report raw material needs to warehouse personnel promptly.
• Maintain forklift license if required.
• Report food safety issues.
• Lift up to 80 lbs as needed.
• Work in environments from 39F to 90F.
• Follow GMP and safety guidelines.
• Read schedules and sheets to ensure correct product.

Requirements:

• Held a similar position for at least 6 months within the past 24 months.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
