Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Grinder Operator to safely run grinding equipment and maintain a clean, compliant work area. You will be expected to read and follow work instructions, verify raw materials and lot numbers, and perform QA checks on the production line.

The role requires adherence to GMP standards, safety guidelines, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Shift is 1st and hours run 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a grinding machine.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety in grinding.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math for production paperwork.
• Willingness to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, parts, and blades to verify they are in good repair and sanitary before setup.
• Read, interpret, and follow work instructions and formulas.
• Identify raw materials used in grinding and verify correct lot numbers.
• Complete QA checks and documentation for the raw area.
• Operate RF terminal or scanner for production records.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and communicate shift handovers.
