Job summary

Wencor Group LLC in Oxford, AL is seeking an entry to mid-level grinder operator. You will learn and operate grinding machines (ID, Jig, OD), read micrometers, c-micrometers, and bore gauges, and indicate or zero parts on machines to meet Traveler specifications.

Responsibilities include interpreting ACI procedures, performing setup and inspection, maintaining equipment, and documenting work in the company system.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand ACI procedures and shop work instructions.
• Able to read tolerances and use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges to inspect parts.
• Experience reading blueprints and following precision tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand ACI procedures and shop work instructions.
• Check tolerances of parts using C-mics, Tri-mics, bore gauges, and calipers.
• Complete set-ups on machines, indicate parts to locate position and grind to tolerances.
• Properly maintain all assigned equipment.
• Follow the 'time in location' priority list.
