Job description

Position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidate must have three years of experience with centerless and cylindrical grinders. Must possess basic grinding skills to set up and run multiple cylindrical parts, knowledge of grinding wheels and wheel dressing, ability to read blueprints, familiarity with precision gauging of aerospace parts, mechanical and basic shop mathematics skills working with decimals to .0001”. The role is results‑oriented, motivated, and can handle changing priorities. The candidate must have exposure to an industrial environment and ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy gauges. Some overtime may be required. Shift is Monday‑Saturday.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Set up and run centerless and cylindrical grinders for multiple cylindrical parts.
• Apply grinding wheel dressing and maintain proper grinding wheel selection.
• Read blueprints and perform precision gauging of aerospace parts.
• Use mechanical and shop mathematics skills to machine to .0001 accuracy.
• Operate within a 2nd shift schedule and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Work independently and handle changing priorities efficiently.

Shift & Hours

Shift: Monday‑Saturday. 2nd shift only. Overtime may be required.
