Job Title: Grinder - Flow Rail Area
Pay: $21.00 per hour
1st Shift
Charlotte, NC

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our team in the flow rail area. In this role, you will be responsible for the grinding of stoppers on a conveyor system, utilizing various grinding machines and tools to shape, smooth, and finish metal parts. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in ensuring that all components meet our precise specifications. This is a short-term assignment; however, it could go longer based on need.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate grinding machines and tools to shape and finish metal parts, specifically stoppers for the flow rail area.
  2. Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to understand production requirements.
  3. Ensure that all finished parts meet quality standards and specifications.
  4. Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
  2. Previous experience in metal grinding or a similar manufacturing role preferred.
  3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  5. Familiarity with various grinding machines and tools.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
