Job summary

Republic Services, Indianapolis Polymer Center, is seeking a Wash Line Operator to supervise and operate the Grinding and Wash Line processes, ensuring safety and efficiency on shift.

You will monitor equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and uphold environmental and safety standards while contributing to customer satisfaction and product quality.

This role requires at least 1 year of manufacturing or recycling experience and offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or recycling experience.
• Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and co‑workers.
• Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
• Good follow through ability; ability to adhere to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Remove unsafe conditions on Grinding and Wash Line processes.
• Execute the Grinding and Wash Line manufacturing plan on shift.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the Grinding and Wash Line equipment.
• Safely operate Grinding and Washing equipment and monitor production quality.
• Document minor service and report repairs to Supervisor as needed.
• Maintain equipment readiness to minimize downtime.
• Create a collaborative team environment and drive employee engagement.
• Support product delivery while assisting maintenance and equipment quality.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
