Job summary

Plastic Recycling Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Machine Operator for safe, efficient operation of grinding equipment used to process recyclable materials. You will support daily production by operating machinery, handling materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards.

Reports to Plant Supervisor. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with hourly pay between $16.25 and $17.00.

Qualifications

• ≥1 year of manufacturing, recycling, or grinding operation experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding and/or baling equipment and other related production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move, load, and stage materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and routine maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform other production duties as assigned by the supervisor.
