El Pollo Loco is seeking a Grill Master to craft flame-grilled chicken and other menu items while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow our standards for preparation and presentation to create a best-in-class guest experience.

Responsibilities include marinating, grilling, portioning, presenting meals, and keeping the area clean and safe. Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus, and a Food Handler Certification is required upon

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
• Must obtain Food Handler Certification promptly upon hire, per EPL policy and state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, marinate, season, cook, stock and rotate chicken and other grilled proteins per standards.
• Receive orders, cut cooked chicken, and arrange proteins for proper presentation.
• Monitor holding time for grilled proteins and take corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain proper serving temperatures for all cooked proteins.
• Inspect raw proteins for quality prior to marinating or grilling.
• Clean and sanitize the entire work area and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
