Roots Natural Kitchen is hiring a Grill Crewmember in State College. You will cook grilled items and rice on the front of house grill, support the crew, and ensure guests have an amazing experience. The role offers a flexible schedule with potential for growth and team-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Follow and execute food safety practices consistently.
• Open and close grill station per restaurant standards.
• Communicate issues to Leadership Team.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Loyally follow food safety practices and leadership instructions.
• Communicate food issues or delays to Leadership Team.
• Maintain cleanliness of grill area, tables, and shelves.
• Safely use knives, tools, and equipment for grill and rice items.
• Use portion control and minimize waste to meet cost targets.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Open and close grill station per restaurant standards.
• Coordinate with Leadership Team, dish, and line crewmembers.
• Maintain a positive, cheerful attitude on shifts.
