IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks a Grill Cook to prepare, portion, grill and present a variety of hot and cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and catered events. Responsibilities include seasoning, frying, grilling, and accurate plating, with potential menu-driven recipes and duties such as inventory receipt and sanitation.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related experience; ServSafe preferred.

• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, seasons and cooks meats and vegetables using grilling, frying and sautéing.
• Prepares, seasons and cooks starches, vegetables and other side hot food items.
• Performs food preparation work including seasoning.
• Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe.
• Deep fries, grills and sautés meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Portions food on serving plates.
• May select recipes per menu cycle and prepare meals for special diets.
• May clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.

General Responsibilities:

• Prepares, seasons and cooks meats and vegetables using skill in frying, grilling and sautéing.
• Prepares, seasons and cooks starches, vegetables and other side hot food items.
• Performs food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning.
• Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe.
• Deep fries, grills and sautés meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing.
• Portions food on serving plates.
• May select recipes per menu cycle, prepare bakery items, receive inventory, move and lift foodstuffs and supplies and prepare meals for customers requiring special diets.
• May clean and sanitize workstations and equipment Job Qualifications: Experience/Knowledge: High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience. And 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
