Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring grill cooks for Monument Health Rapid City, SD. We offer full-time and part-time schedules; nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Previous grill cooking experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with training available.

Summary of duties includes preparing and serving grilled items, ensuring food quality and safety, and assisting with other duties as needed to support patient and community meals.

• Previous grill cooking experience preferred.
• Full-time or part-time availability.
• Willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Prepares grilled items and serves customers at the grill station.
• Ensures correct temperatures, quality, and appearance of food.
• Follows established service steps and completes orders.
• Maintains safe handling and sanitation of all food.
• Transports pans, kettles and trays safely between work areas.
• Stores foods properly and rotas to rotate stock.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Addresses customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
• Attends safety meetings and trainings.
• Maintains positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
