Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group in Vernon Hills, IL is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions at the Becton Dickinson Vernon Hills facility. Shifts: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Online applications accepted only. Previous grill cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous grill cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain HACCP and food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and temperatures; ensures plating is attractive and tasty.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving; stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Maintains clean refrigerators and storerooms; assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
