FOX Studio Lot in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Grill Cook to join the team. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. This role requires flexibility for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of culinary experience, a high school diploma or culinary program, and strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation. Lifting up to 25 lbs and following recipes to meet outlet standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or culinary program certificate or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of culinary experience.
• Basic knife handling, chopping, slicing, grilling, and sauteing.
• Food Safety & Sanitation knowledge.
• Able to read and follow assigned recipes and kitchen standards, with excellent customer service.
• Able to lift 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and production related to the assigned outlet and station.
• Prepare, produce, and cook all food products as assigned by the Outlet Chef for the operation's needs.
• Maintain all equipment in good order through proper use and care.
• Maintain assigned station in a clean and organized state at all times.
• Clean up and wipe down the station at the end of the shift.
• Assist in putting away all delivered merchandise (produce, meat, fish, dry goods, etc.).
• Adhere to all State and Local Health Department rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by chefs/supervisors.
• Overtime and earlier start times as required by business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 3+ years of prior culinary experience
• Basic knife handling, chopping, slicing, grilling, and sauteing
• Food Safety & Sanitation knowledge
• Able to read and follow assigned recipes and kitchen standards, with excellent customer service and guest interaction
• Able to lift 25lbs

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $32.76 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
