We are hiring immediately for a part-time GRILL COOK position.

Location: Stryker Cafe - 325 Corporate Drive, Mahwah, NJ 07430. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; Tuesday through Thursday, 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Prior culinary experience, customer service skills, Food Handlers certificate, and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Pay Range: $17.50 to $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes orders, prepares items requiring short preparation, and serves customers efficiently.
2. Ensures food quality, temperature, and presentation; tastes all prepared food.
3. Uses established procedures for ticket collection and records during service.
4. Follows recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
5. Safely transports food items within the kitchen area.
6. Stores foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
9. Attends safety and training meetings.
10. Maintains positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
