Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health Bridgeport Hospital is seeking a dedicated Food Service Grill Cook to provide prompt customer service and prepare food per department standards. You will be responsible for grilling designated items, maintaining sanitation, and supporting safety practices in a patient-centered hospital setting.

The role requires good interpersonal skills, the ability to read and speak English, and the ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

• 1.CUSTOMER SERVICE:
  • 1.1Provides the highest level of customer service to all customers by greeting them in a courteous and professional manner.
• 2.FOOD PREPARATION:
  • 2.1Prepares food items according to established department standards.
• 3.GRILL COOK:
  • 3.1Prepares and cooks all designated grill items.
• 4.SANITATION:
  • 4.1Assists in maintaining clean and properly sanitized production and retail areas.
• 5.SAFETY
  • 5.1Assure the safety of patients, staff and visitors through enforcement of department safety policies and procedures.
• 6.ADDITIONAL TASKS:
  • 6.1Performs any additional assignments as required by the manager/supervisor.
