Job Opening: Grill Cook

We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position at the Getty Center, located at 1200 Getty Center Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90049. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station according to applicable standards and regulations to ensure high-quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Take orders and prepare items requiring short preparation; complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations.
2. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food quality and proper temperatures.
3. Use established procedures for ticket collection and record keeping during service.
4. Follow recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
5. Transport food safely between workstations and storage areas.
6. Store foods properly following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
8. Address customer concerns and report issues to supervisors.
9. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
10. Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and management.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
