We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position at the BenU Krasa Student Center, located at 5700 College Road, Lisle, IL 60532. Note: online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full time, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Days may vary, including weekends; more details upon interview.

Requirement: 2 years of grill cook experience required.

Perks: $200 SIGN-ON BONUS payable after 3 months of employment. Chef coat provided!

Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Take orders and prepare items requiring short preparation; serve at multiple stations.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring proper food temperature and presentation.
• Use established procedures for ticket collection and record keeping.
• Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Transport food safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store foods following safety and rotation procedures.
• Maintain sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Address customer concerns and report issues to supervisor.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
