Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty; tastes all prepared food.
3. Uses established ticket-collection procedures; responsible for records during service.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper temperatures, and portion control.
5. Carries pans, kettles, trays safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Stores foods properly following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant issues to supervisor.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
11. Performs job safely in a clean, safe environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
